I will never have any work done at the shop again. They took my money and didn’t even look at my engine. I had the completely wrong battery installed. Which doesn’t take a $100 dollars to diagnose. When I went to get a full diagnostic they never told me that I had the wrong battery which meant that they never looked at my engine. They charged me 2300 to get my brakes fixed. When I asked them what they performed on the car the lady was very rude to me. She was very nice in the beginning but became condescending once I paid them and asked them what they actually look at when preforming a full diagnostic. I had to tell her about her language and how it was not very supportive of me understanding what exactly my money was spent on. They took full advantage of me not knowing about cars and didn’t care to make clear what they actually look at when doing a full diagnostic. They seem to rely totally on the machines to diagnose and not even pop the hood to look at anything. Right after I got the work done on my truck, there was a lot of smoke coming from my engine the day after and when I asked them what it could be they said it was natural and it was burning oil however this was a very serious problem. I went to them because they had some good reviews but they basically did nothing I actually needed and tried to rip me off for all they could with useless work. I was looking forward to bringing my car here as I had read many of the positive reviews - however, when I called to ask how long a tire alignment typically takes - a service advertised on their website - I was told they don't do tire alignments. When I mentioned the service being on their website, I was told they were too busy and had too many people requesting wheel alignments. I found it very strange that I was told explicitly that they don't provide a service that they clearly do without any suggestion to call back in a month, schedule an appointment far in advance, try getting there when the shop opens, or any other recommendation. I did not feel valued as a potential customer, and though I was hoping to have some other repairs done for my vehicle as well, my poor phone interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and I will be looking elsewhere for a reliable mechanic.

I was looking around for a trusted repair shop here in New Orleans when a friend of mine suggested Nola Automotive Repair, a shop she has been going to for years. Customer service was great and the price was reasonable when they replaced my tires. I will definitely recommend them to any of my friends who need help with car troubles.

I went to this place to get my brakes serviced and now i have water leaking into my car. When i picked up my car i thought the window may have been open while servicing my vehicle but as it’s rained since then water is leaking through to my passenger side door. Nola Automotive Repair did a great repair work when they fixed the AC in my car. I really needed it to get it fixed because it has gotten really hot lately. So I basically I came here to get my ac fix they told Me I needed a new radiator fan so I bought a radiator so they called me and said my vehicle was ready got my vehicle my air conditioner was still blowing hot so they took a look at my vehicle and said my Compressor needed to be replace it was leaking so why didn’t you say that in the first place this company is full of bull they tell you anything if you’re looking for a reliable mechanic don’t go here waste of money and time
